Prologue

Prologue

A Chapter by Carter Meyer

I met you in November. You kissed me in December. I tried to hide in January, but I showed up in February. We didn't talk in March. Late April you ran away. The next day I couldn't breathe. In May you came back for me.

Hell yeah, I loved this Prologue. What a creative way to start off, hooks a reader write in and makes them want to dive into the book. Great work.

The words are poetry. I like the story in the words. You said a lot in so few words. A very strong introduction.

Elegance in simplicity. It's a motto I've lived by. Here, simplicity is synonmyous with "short" because this poem is far from simple. It's packed full of emotion, every range of emotion, from the beginning to the end. I'm in love with this piece. Great job :)
