I'm tearing up after reading this and I'm a guy, that was absolutely incredible. My mind hung on your every word, and each line played out right before my eyes, i wasn't glaring like an idiot at a screen, i was physically there observing from the sidelines as a shadow, tears slowly but surely forming at the corner of each eye. I wouldnt dare blink for I'd miss something and thankfully i didnt. Absolutely wonderful, you have a way with words, an absolute magical way. Amazing, and beautiful. Real talent here. Loss for words.
I'm going to be honest with you. I don't do books. But I loved this one. The world you created for a reader to omnisciently stand in was not only well structured but beautifully written. I feel like I've met them and when the end came a piece of me "floated" to heaven with her too. Not only are you a master a cinematic story telling you do it in a minimalistic style that leaves me wanting more. I am thirsty for more knowledge about this tragedy and survival. Brilliant write. J'adore.
I'm so glad i read this. I'd never really heard of pillowbooks until this. It was fascinating. It held me from beginning to end. The way you could tell such heart broking tales in such short lines. Wow...that is truly all i can say. I hope everyone will read this. Thank you for sending me in this direction and keeping the read requests coming. Much love!
