Masked

Masked

A Chapter by Kaity Fisher

Faking smiles.

Faking laughs.

Only showing strength;

Dying on the inside.

Masked.

On my weakest days,

I am strong for everyone.

No one knows something is wrong.

But you can only bend so much

Until you break.

Nobody can read me anymore.

Only the pages I write on,

And my pillow full of tears

Know what's honestly wrong.

Because I'm masked.
