Perfection

Perfection

A Chapter by Kaity Fisher

There was perfection, but then reflection.

Brought back the reality of artificiality.

Didn’t realize pain would be this mundane.

Suspended in nowhere, nobody can compare.

Now I’m forced to yearn for the point of no return.

Cast into the fire, I’ve never known this bad of a liar.

The tears in my eyes are impossible to disguise.

This fear will remain crystal clear.

There was perfection, but then rejection.

A ton of heartache, all a big mistake.

Having transpire turn into regret and desire.

Trying to apologize, but you just dramatize.

Try to impress but you prefer to undress.

This life isn’t a fairytale, just made of betrayal.

Your depression worsened to an obsession.

Your mere will forever be crystal clear.

There’s no perfection but there’s affection.

You still had the audacity, and the mendacity.

Betrayed the ones you love, that's nothing to be proud of.

You took a dare, and don't seem to care.

You can't see, this is a killer-degree;

You've pushed us over the edge.

This is it, the worst crime you could commit.

This fear will remain crystal clear.
