The Climb

The Climb

A Chapter by Kaity Fisher

You need to keep your head up all the time

Everyone has felt this same pain before

Believe me, happiness is not a crime.

It may burn, it may sting. Don't stop the climb.

You don't have to feel like this anymore

You need to keep your head up all the time.

Even though this may be a rapid climb,

There is nothing you should be sorry for.

Believe me, happiness is not a crime.

You are all that matters, keep up the climb.

Don't give up; you're all someone's looking for

You need to keep your head up all the time.

Make it your forte to keep up the climb.

Promise me, you swear, you'll continue to soar

Believe me, happiness is not a crime.

Now that you're done with the treacherous climb;

Congratulations, you have won this war.

You need to keep your head up all the time.

Believe me, happiness is not a crime.
