SemanticsA Poem by EradikaitLearn each other. Embrace the uncharted territory. It's how to love.Gossamer collects in intricate puddles, leaking off of my mouth’s organ in ostinato rhythm. It’s the afterbirth of a thawed winter; it’s the ceremony of visceral delight. But then the milieu is all too familiar, especially when speech patterns inflect like song-song clockwork and I am left undiscovered. That’s when my rindy, pulpy center splutters and crackles with citric acid. Avoid the eggshells. Disrobe the armor. Grab me by the hand--I’ll be your delicate discrimination. I can’t teach you how to swim, but I can tell you what it’s like. Grab a scalpel, pierce my sulci, and consume my brain stem. When you are satiated, proceed to dissect my essence. Disregard the new age sense of romance. Embrace the uncharted territory. Maybe then your lips will blister and burn with understanding. © 2013 Eradikait |
