A Chapter by kite kid

I spent most of my days looking outside my window, just peering to see what the world might hold for me. With my days spent just looking at the fly’s that would stick to my window, trying to suck at the dirt of the glass. Looking at these organism that would consume and breathe the little air that it could breathe. Never thinking of what might happen to them, too short of a live, too short to make a society or community and even family to cherish or love. But that’s it, my life is the view of god compared to these flies and my power is never less than the grim reaper.

Looking outside is something of a zoo. Animals coming in so many forms either carnivore or herbivore and their masks only hide those beast that only show themselves when they smile. Going into the jungle is something of a zoo. The change in the mood when they look at me, like I’m the animal but truly they are. The only place I go for peace is the forest, where guilt overcomes my rage for the jungle.

The cold ground, the chill of the wind, and the noise of someone walking up to me. Then he stands with no reaction of his environment. With one sense of the world being silent, I go up to him and say “the only human around who can actually act like animal but still be motionless when he sees a meal.” He smirks and glances for me to take a seat on the tree stump. “You keep on seeing animals while the rest of us see you as a monster with those hollow eyes you have gin.” (Stephen says). He leans on a tree staring me down like I was a fly.

We just stare in silence until Stephen begin to walk into the forest and I get up. Like a puppy following his master, I see the bright lights shining and his shadow protects me from the jungles lights. “Hey gin, don’t you just want to burn down this city? I’m only asking if we could, then we could have the peace of mind that we seek before are 24 birthday. “(Stephen says). I stare up at him “really, first of all how do we do it. Not like we can find a plane and crash into some building.” (Gin says).

Stephen steps backwards and falls into his own shadow. “Only you have the choice in telling your own story gin, so please keep wasting your life looking at the window and judge those people with no clause. But at least I’m giving you, your own thoughts that turn out warped though my eyes.”(Says Stephen). He disappears within his own shadow and the light blinds me when he disappears. I wake to see my reflection in the window and See that the jungle has left me with a new pile of flies to sweep up.
