I want to go down in a blaze

Not sitting in some mindless haze

I pen down truth for all to wear

It is not dying that I fear

 

It is silence within my mind

The lonely moments that I find

Bound by the cords too strong to shear

It is not dying that I fear

 

And when I linger near the edge

All my hopes and dreams neatly wedged

I shout this out to all who hear

It is not dying that I fear

Nice, this is a great poem. Love the aspect of the mind that you put in the poem. Finding the truth of yourself in my opinion is hard and can be scary, you did a good job in showing that. Well I hope that is what you were getting at lol
