cry no moreA Poem by Kitalia EmmeMind broken, thoughts bent. Better tears long since spent. But that's the world, my dear, so cry no more. Believing all blame is yours Hiding fear behind closed doors Don't let them see the shame, my dear, so cry no more. Wicked words teaching lies Fear someone will hear your cries. "They'll never understand, my dear, so cry no more." Accusations, casting blame, Manipulated by this game. "I never ment to hurt you, my dear, so cry no more." Voice raised in an angry shout No defense, just crying out, "Remember pain is love, my dear, so cry no more." Self loathing, how the pain runs deep. Thoughts can't be shared, in silence keep, "No one else will care, my dear, so cry no more." "No one can love you, but myself. You'll never know your own wealth, Don't trust anyone but me, my dear, so cry no more." "Without my strength you'll only die, Without my help you shouldn't try, I'm what keeps you alive, my dear, so cry no more." "I'd would never say such things Throw that? I'd never be so mean. I'd never place a hand in you, my dear, so cry no more." "Such madness and insanity You are paranoid, all delusions, see? None of that is real, my dear, so cry no more." "The doctors now will only lie It doesn't hurt, please don't cry. See? You survived your suicide, my dear, so cry no more." Believing all is in your mind. All imagined; they're truly kind, "I care for you, now stay, my dear, so cry no more." Bitter words teach a fearful lesson Isolated in a mental prison, "I only want to keep you safe, my dear, so cry no more."
