Little LightsA Poem by Kitalia EmmeAnd I bid farewell to another wonderful person. So much joy you brought into this life as a teacher, a counselor, and a friend. If I could have chosen my own grandparents you would have been one.
Little lights dancing, flicker in the night.
Little lights shining, making the world alright. Little lights to guid, little lights bring joy. Little lights like fireflies illuminate the night. Little lights to teach, little lights to care. Little lights to comfort, always to be there. Little lights to show the good that flows throughout the world. Little lights, that when you go, I know will still be there. Little lights that show joy to drown the sorrow. Little lights remind us of the promise of tomorrow. Little lights, an open heart, a loving family. The little lights you planted will forever bloom and grow. Little lights like stars will forever light the way. Little lights remind us all, in the end it'll be okay. Know we'll miss your warmth, your kindness, and your smile, But the little lights you gave us will never fade away. So as you make your journey please know this from the start. How very much we'll miss you as we watch as you depart. But though we feel a sorrow there's no darkness in our souls, For the little lights you gave us will shine forever in our hearts. © 2015 Kitalia EmmeReviews
