Magicks!!!

Magicks!!!

A Poem by Thomas Fitzgerald
"

A source battle of world importance, I am just playing with ideas really.

"

Bemused intolerance to the fools of the earth,

Perusing the lands of magical inspection,

Retarded thoughts fling between us two,

A light had beamed a tiresome reaction.

Green hands lace air as toxic folds with death,

Mirrored eyes show mercy for the sun,

Veins make her happy when busted closed,

A child, a man, a death for mere fun.

Make haste at water’s edge in dessert storms,

She comes to find the dead as they rise third,

A locket captures the essence of tiny mortals,

In war not even soldiers are really heard.

Battles are waged away from human grasp,

The ending will come like floods to the dam,

Raised hero’s will mark us for protection,

A might evil is placed in the stars, a horned ram.

The poem is amazing. You need to expand and tell the complete story. I like the honest and strong words in this poem. I like how you can make your point with proper language and strong words.

Thanks
War is ugly. These monkeys that we are. We are given thumbs and we forge swords to kill our fellow man for a piece of dirt or an antiquated idea. Very nice, thought provoking write.

Wow, this is truly a colorful, imaginative piece. Rather dark in places too.

The last line, "A might evil is placed in the stars, a horned ram." I loved it because I think that astrology has a collage of images and metaphors that can be a wonderful contribution to the world of writing. I just love the imagery that you're using, you paint one picture with one line then you add a contradictory emotion to it. It gives the reader a better understanding of the imagery and captures them. I loved every bit of this you're really good:))

'A locket captures the essence of tiny mortals,'
favorite line.
'In war not even soldiers are really heard.' This is the line that spoke to me the most, it's the truth that no one likes to hear.I like this a lot it speaks the truth and is strongly worded. great job :)
