Magicks!!!

Magicks!!!

A Poem by Thomas Fitzgerald
"

A source battle of world importance, I am just playing with ideas really.

"

Bemused intolerance to the fools of the earth,

Perusing the lands of magical inspection,

Retarded thoughts fling between us two,

A light had beamed a tiresome reaction.

Green hands lace air as toxic folds with death,

Mirrored eyes show mercy for the sun,

Veins make her happy when busted closed,

A child, a man, a death for mere fun.

Make haste at water’s edge in dessert storms,

She comes to find the dead as they rise third,

A locket captures the essence of tiny mortals,

In war not even soldiers are really heard.

Battles are waged away from human grasp,

The ending will come like floods to the dam,

Raised hero’s will mark us for protection,

A might evil is placed in the stars, a horned ram.

The poem is amazing. You need to expand and tell the complete story. I like the honest and strong words in this poem. I like how you can make your point with proper language and strong words.

Hmm, there is so much in there, that how could it create magik, it seems like is all around the place, and it could break easily, What exactly are you trying to create.

Its darker then your normal work. I liked it but the last words left me confused.

I read your poetry like I look at Dali paintings, dazed, perplexed and awed. I wish I had the brains to say more, but your work is unique and awesome.

I'm interested in knowing the entire story here, the background would be nice. Great work though Thomas:)

I know people want criticism with their writing but, I just don't see anything wrong with yours. I mean good, you've got a meaning, you know how to spell and you really make me want ot share this writing with other people. Really just awesome piece "Green hands lace air as toxic folds with death,
Mirrored eyes show mercy for the sun,
Veins make her happy when busted closed,
A child, a man, a death for mere fun."
just found that part interesting. Anyways well done.

With the title and some of the references, I get a mental picture of a witch or sorceress conjuring up the dead to wage war. I am probably way off, but it's just my lovely twisted mind. I love your imagery and the flow of this piece. Well penned.

This is great, otherwordly commentary though some parts did not entirely connect with me overall I enjoyed it. Really abstract but vivid descriptions.
