Letter of the Un-forgiven.

Letter of the Un-forgiven.

A Poem by Thomas Fitzgerald
"

A study of those blind to faith and reason.

"
Slated stone crushed under a worn foot,
walking lands as arcane to travelling new,
Poised plants sully the roads of old,
doctors failed those praying on few.
Tattered houses align a single mile,
discussions hushed and silence the young,
Broken memories kill the very heart,
the old women with a woven and vinyl tongue.
A low rise hill holds the death of saints,
women mourn and cry tears for all,
Pictured captured in scenes slackened,
more hopes are needed to reach the tall.
Failed fears of children scream loose,
bright stars have fallen on those men,
A door held open for and by the divine,
Simple thoughts are key in time ten.

I'm not sure, but I may have noticed some minor errors within the piece, but regardless I think I got the jist of this after a couple of reads. IMHO, I think their are more people way too open to faith and reason, and bring religiousness a little too far and insane...while others dont have enough. Not sure if I'm making sense, religion is a touchy subject but I thought this was a great write.

You have a great way of writing on the borderline of dark fantasy a style that is truly of your own making, great work

Honey! This is something else! Re-read I shall and favourited it also.....as I seem to do a lot of your work :)
I embrace all of this stunning metaphor and almost drown in it, I mean that in a good way :)
You have a talent of creating hard hitting pieces that not only deserve re-reading, they totally require it!
Brilliant honey, just bloody fantastic!
