One Morning.

One Morning.

A Poem by Thomas Fitzgerald
"

I am playing with imagery today, looking out my window and spotting the hidden beauty.

"
The slightest breeze makes waves of green tender branches,
A backdrop of grey, blue and white dazzles my human eye,
Our Mother lays beauty at our doorstep each morning,
With a full and magical sense of a playful sky.

The smell of dewed grass hits the nose with joy,
Many lives are grown and sustained within her earth,
Tread softly upon her yielding surface always,
Remember that the ground gives glorious birth.

Though seasons may change the palate before me,
I dance and sing for the excitement of it all,
Tomorrow bring a new hope of serenity,
How I yearn to hear her, our Mother's call.

It may not be your usual style but it is a joy to read, the cool rhymes themselves give an image to my mind and the nature aspects only help. Wonderful, I'm a little sad you don't write like this often, so when you do I'll cherish the words more than any other. ~ BlackCl0ud
