Silent Love

Silent Love

A Poem by Thomas Fitzgerald
"

For good Father's everywhere.

"
A look that would kill,
Two hands of hard working,
His thoughts of protection,
His children were sulking,
A man of true grace,
A man of true pride,
Loyal and sundry,
His thoughts never slide,
His pain be unbearable,
His joints did cease in,
He wouldn't give up,
Not for his kin.

Wonderful tribute to fathers everywhere. Daddy's are pretty special guys deserving of that and more .... great writing.

love isn't always obvious especially parental love. I wanna see a face to the father but you do well describing his non physical characteristics. There's a lot more to the father's story you have yet to tell. If you ever think about expanding there is a lot more to write about
