An ode to suicide!

To slit thy wrists,

To hang by ropes,

To swallow thy pills,

To blemish all hopes,

A tear from an eye,

A pain in thy back,

A stab to the heart,

A world that is black,

The coffins gone down,

The spirit is lifted,

The gun has gone silent,

The stomach has twisted,

A family in mourning,

An answer not there,

A goodbye not said,

A death unfair.

Usually I think rhyming poems take away the seriousness of the message behind the poem, but you've done a brilliant job of rhyming whilst talking about suicide.
I also like the way you haven't really separated the poem into stanzas, but instead you've started every four lines with either 'a' or 't'.

Normally I won't even look at suicide poems. I feel like a lot of people glamorize it and I never really understood why. Subject matter aside the poem is very tight as I would expect from you. It's a solid write that get's it's point across
