Shatter.A Poem by Thomas FitzgeraldAn ode to winter.
As wild winds blow,
The flesh is blue, A raindrop fallen, The season now new, The tress stripped naked, Red cheeks of the old, Sickness now invitational, All syrups are sold, J.Frost at your door, Hot coals on the grate, Curled toes at midnight, Steaming food on your plate, Fields of white blankets, A black heart in her, Snow queen now please, It's finally winter.
