The Color Blood

The Color Blood

A Poem by Thomas Fitzgerald
"

A statement to those of difference

"
His skin soft his hair short,
His muscles defined his name tort,
Her nails long her lashes curled,
Her eyes sparkling singing her world,
Taunt their enemy black their curse,
Brown their confusion KKK there worse,
The same as I gone in the flood,
We came one way the colour blood

well now … I purposefully find my way to the earliest entry or perhaps the one that has migrated to the last line in order to see just where this venture has launched
this piece is as good as one gets
strong truth

Cynical poet:

"If human mouths were really roses, my lad--
(Why must we link things so?--)
I would tear yours petal by petal with ------"
(fill in the blanks)
