Water Charge.A Poem by Thomas FitzgeraldA look at my country being torn apart by a government not ready to listen to those that handed them the power to govern.Little Kenny grinning in money vaults, Clear signs again that tax will rise, Now natural resource runs smooth no more, Our water the b******s turn free to prise. Burton trapped in comfy steel cages, Bless the children she bawls yet hide, Silence the people with inner workings, Not knowing the anger of Irish pride. Water charges the newest beacon we see, God forbid we have anything that's ours, When will air be taxed by these monster's, Oh chuckle all you suited drunk sours. A message clear from my strong kinsmen, Lay down your papers and listen clear, We will not take your monetary obsession, For we the Irish are all done with fear. © 2014 Thomas FitzgeraldAuthor's Note
