The Offer!A Poem by Thomas FitzgeraldThose times when one must say no!Bare feet crisp as winter snow on marble, Men waiting in stone to look upon us few, Gather thoughts of sins committed before now, Once forgiven you go forth and apply now new.
He comes for her and you at darkened eve, Never known yet recognised by us on sight, Black clothes leave tales unspoken or thought, Never kneel you faithful for weapons he uses fright.
Command no sing no and say no as always, Remember it is not his to convey or see, People walk in blood and in bodies of food, Were weak at our level and protected agree.
Goodbye strangers of goblins and monsters, Your power is clear and strong and destroyed, Merely pray my darlings and all are answered, I tell you be free and forgive all never avoid.
