A few ways we could end the world!A Poem by Kishore Chandrana poem about how we humans could end the world with our doings. We stare at the likely end of the world, the ultimate price for the sins we hold, yet another ice age, the blistering cold. We will be extinct soon, it is told. Air so polluted the clouds invisible, most of the cities tagged non livable, what's left of air, unbreathable. Lives choked to death, it's inevitable. Ozone layer depleted, enter the gamma rays, Eagles, crows, pigeons and mocking jays, erased from the face of the earth with no delays. Let them die save yourself, the human says. Frozen ice melts the water levels raised, floods and tsunamis have many cities laced, The true power of nature rightfully appraised. We have no choice, but to silently embrace. Uncontrolled rise in human population, no place for plants and animals in any nation, the day not far when we die of starvation. Our only pis aller, pray for salvation. Wars fought over religion, water and land, the nuclear wars waged by many a man, a force so powerful none could withstand. The ultimate perpetrator - We, the damned.
