Leftovers

Leftovers

A Poem by Kirk O'Dell

You think they all care;

this facade you put forth

Don't build it any longer,

lest you have remorse

For the dreams of today

are the regrets of tomorrow

Don't fade away,

or drift to your sorrow

Be who you are,

the one who's set free

Not bound up and shakled;

someone like me
