Cinda (let me in)

Cinda (let me in)

A Poem by Drew

Cinda
(let me in)

Reflections of you
A lasting in print within
The pages of my heart become
Flowing images of tender moments precious
And few only I can see.

Youthful innocence captured in a laugh
A heartbeat renewed found in a touch
My breath held captive by your every glace
Your sorrow become my pain unfelt by you
Every tear becomes a mark upon my cheek.

Swept away on a gentle breeze
My every thought begins to wander.
As if to stir from a dream my soul wakens
Vibrant and Alive in your presence.
In your absence I am lost.

I rest upon fallen knees reaching out
The glory of your love my every want
My only need
Bathe within my passions warmth
I call out to you
Our heavenly father bestowed upon us this grace
Of two met merely by chance
Open the pathway of your heart
Welcome loves enduring embrace…
Let me in…let me in
