Prologue
It hissed trying to hit me. I dodged and I kicked it, trying to make it back down. Now I wished I’d taken those karate classes. I took out my gun and pointed it at the monster, but it hit my hand making the gun fly out of my hand. It caught what some people might have said “mid-air”. The people around me screamed thinking most likely that the gun was going to hit them. I dived for the gun, and grabbed it.
I held the gun in my hand and pointed it at the monster. “Like you could hit me!”  It hissed.
“Watch me…”
I shot the monster, right on the mark, and it started to bleed all over the place. Not the type that you are thinking of. This blood was purple in color. Dyeing everything with its touch. “Told you so.” I put the gun away. Smirking a little to myself.  I started walked out of the building as Alex grabbed my arm.
“What are you?”
“Why can’t you just say "thank you", and forget about it.” I glared at him. I glared at them all and walked away in to the cold night atmosphere.
