The ReleaseA Poem by King JamesAgain she is out of reachThe Release Walls that divide some bring others closer together, And yet those same walls keep us safe from harsh weather. Curiosity drives me, as fear makes me weak, I ponder and wonder if I ever can complete. My approach, my ways, my moods, my thoughts, The things we sat, the way we talk. If ever there generate in you the thought of me with a smile, In your heart, on your face, I hope be it now. While we still have many years to make mistakes, And though these years still are tears of love’s heartache. Unfortunately if the type you prefer, and like, Disqualifies my tries and makes me not right. May I still be able to make you happy? Or will my approach make you angered and slap me. Forgive me; I know I don't know you that well, Don't give me the antidote to your captivating spell. I don't know why I try to hide and disguise, I get mesmerized when I look into your eyes. I do not romanticize, but still mot like most guys, I look past your beauty; I feel you are wise, Such a light glossy glow, your face quickly lightens, With a smile you beauty rapidly brightens. With a pleasant personality you fully display, The reason I have the most wonderful days. As word for word this poem sinks into the past, Slow down, let each letter soothe slowly not fast. But let it be, as revealed to be true, Straight from the heart are my feelings for you. So before you look up, and set your mind free, Please think on the thoughts of a future with me © 2008 King James |
