Before You GoA Poem by King JamesThis is for the girl I could never haveBefore You Go A man shouldn’t be judged by his actions and manifestations, For his character escorts and produces his destination. Life takes us places we never expect, Always unconsciously worrying about what’s to come next. I was mesmerized and mystified when the wind blew you in, Now I feel energized and revitalized by the sight of your grin. As I dance to your laughter your smile kisses me, Even as I sleep I still chase your beauty. I try my best to maintain my composure in your midst, Knowing not to entwine personal feelings with business. Indeed we can control our surroundings through our actions, I know your daily kindness isn’t to mislead, but your exquisiteness is distracting. A radiance that can only be inherited by the sun, A glorious, firm, magnificent heartwarming one. I know I posses little knowledge of your disposition. But I feel if given the chance I can elevate your intuition. Or at least surrender my support and stretch a helping hand, What ever you may choose I shall fully understand. I just request you inform me of your decision, And to not change towards me as though I am different. Passion runs through my veins at the sound of your name, I know this is something you didn't expect but you’ll agree; life’s insane. If you choose to reconsider the possibility that we can be, Can you at least reserve a space in your heart for me? Is there a chance that I can be the one you one-day call? When you sweat in the summer, freeze in the winter and stumble in the fall. As new conceptions formulate in your mind as you read, For me this is a voyage, I am not in need. Just a search for compatibility to stabilize reality, Some one that I can trust and be with freely. I know life is tough and so don't give up continue to grow, Just thought I’d let you know how I feel before you go. © 2008 King JamesReviews
