Living With In

 

As I lay in this coffin I think of you,

Our relationship, painted in crimson blue.

I feel used by your lips and blinded by your eyes,

I feel I left my brain on vacation and let my heart decide.

Instead of embracing and supporting me,

You shun me away, and hide your feelings from me.

I give you Love and try providing you with hope,

You hang the phone in my face, so on that note.

You were my everything; nothing could keep us apart,

But your selfishness melts the compassion from my heart.

Why do you prefer to face this life on your own?

I want to be with you, why do you want to be alone?

Do you want me to hate you; do you want me to run away?

I told you from day one, I'm HERE to STAY!!!

Why do you choose self-destruction over a life of paradise?

I've missed out on so much without you in my life.

But that means nothing, be cause you don't care,

I’ll sacrifice for you every breath of air!

I just want to talk to you, at least let you know,

That I’m ok, but you want me to let you go.

You let go of me you prefer to be forlorn.

I take you back so I can protect you from this storm.

I’ll tell you who you are to me I’ll tell you who I seek

It is you; you’re the one person Ill give everything just to keep,

It’s nothing to have a dream if no one to share them with,

Baby, I'm here to share them with you please let me lift.

Your eyes your attitude, your mood your motivations!

Let me be your fuel, your greatest inspiration!

Ill listen to you, laugh with you even cry with you,

No matter where you go, I’ll even die for you!

Please?! I care for you like no one ever will,

And even though I'm far, I’m also near.

Touch your chest; can you feel me beating with your heart,

I’m here eternally no matter if all gets dark!

And so sorrow fills the heat of those that choose to quit,

But until you are with me, any other man is just a myth!

And so I will fight to apprehend your heart and to have and keep you.

So release the truth and stop hiding the fact, that you love me to!

Incredible, the beauty and the message to this someone who does everything to keep you out. I guess
when someone has been hurt they shut many doors and its takes a very special someone to keep hammering
on it so they are finally let in..........this poem would work so well.........it says so much, and is full of love and hope..............you are a beautiful writer with a big heart..........she is a lucky girl!
