![]() The BrotherhoodA Poem by King James![]() United we Stand![]() a The Brotherhood A hand reaches out while cruel stares penetrate, Outsiders misjudge, criticize and hate. Like no other ally you collaborated with me exceptionally, And like a friend your gift of wounds I can trust expectantly. My brother from the same mother not twins yet in the end, We share the same eyes, the same hair, the same skin. A closeness that no friend can measure up to, A rivalry no enemy can treasure up to. Buried deep in the rubble; lost in this worldly trash, But still you forgive me for mistakes made in the past. And the unexpected twist of loyalty precipitates, The antidote to a society that deteriorates. The fullness of a heartbeat of a strong legacy, The wonders and rhythms of a sweet melody. My temper and rage feeds my hostile sage, Instead of judging me you pray to God to bless my days.
