VerdadesA Poem by Deos Fortioribus Adesse
I won't lie,
I have no experience with holding hands, These hands have never been bruised by desire from a lover's palms, But could you trust how clumsily they try to hold on tight, I won't tell a lie, I am no expert with my lips, Yet somehow, I can sew mine seamlessly into yours, I wonder why you do not pull back in fright, I tell no lies, My fingers have no practice with traversing the contours of a body, Yet, I am able to trace the valleys of your pleasure, Shouldn't you have already taken flight? A star shot through your night sky, That was me falling for you, I wonder if you think I'm lying, Even though we both feel this is right. © 2014 Deos Fortioribus AdesseReviews
