How you dare

Thoughts of you

keep me from sleep,

while you prepare to cue

the rain from down deep.

 

Pain like this will not

be diverted with ease,

especially when you prod

even as you saucily tease.

 

Why can't I find that sign from above,

which will show me my somebody to love.
