Perfection with a rot

I know what this means
I just don't understand it
Liquid is wet
What should molten be?

A vegetarian in a furry costume
Policemen caught drunk driving
What are we?!
Prophets or hypocrites?!

Secrets uncovered
The beloved wife of a catholic priest
Dear Mighty Allah!
An Imam just farted in a central mosque

Fashion designers in rags
An hygiene teacher with a bad breath
Psalm of the birdbrained
Are we really qualified?

this is one of those poems that reminds the reader - everyone poops. I know its vulgar to say it - but it is what it is. This balances between tongue in cheek and rapier in hand, you know? Bullseye! Nicely penned randomness.

I like this piece of social satire dealing with the great ironies of our times. I bought my brother a military styled hat that read, "Support Our Troops!" He served in the Vietnam war. The inside tag on the hat? MADE IN VIETNAM. Irony.
