Clawed My Way Home

Clawed My Way Home

A Poem by kinetrix

Cold night

Long night

Any night;

Warm night

Every night

Dark night;

Mine alone, this burden to carry

Yours alone, to understand.

With me, I want you to stay

Alone though, I MUST BE

YOUR LOVE, the only sustenance, to quench my thirst,

Hope, the proverbial rock, I must cling to,

Only then, may I succeed in

My task. As I claw my way home

Every night, to find my soul, of you I dream.

This was a task I set myself. To, first come up with a title and then to write a poem were every line starts with a letter in the title working sequentiality.
