The Lion and The Gazelle

The Lion and The Gazelle

A Poem by Kimberly Yvette

He patiently waits for her in the dead of the night.
This beast with hungry eyes,
And a look without a fright.
With just a clench of his jaw,
His strength is too much.
He pins her face down and begins to have lunch.

Author's Note

Kimberly Yvette
I couldn't decide on the title. I wanted him to sound dominate and savage, while describing her as vulnerable and powerless. Xoxo.

You succeeded in your intent. A dominance and submission by intent.
