HOLDING

HOLDING

A Poem by Bill Grimke-Drayton
"

This poem is about remembering with the sadness of being away from the loved one.

"

Blue colour of sky-canopy,

cool-magenta painted

as a gentle mirror

on the still-surfaced ocean,

inviting to swim languidly

side by side

together with you,

my rainbow-companion,

in promised dream, embracing,

holding our precious image

to remember beauty’s times,

now we are apart

for a cruel but short season.

Once again, beautifully prose and compilation! I really enjoyed it!
