THE LIGHT OF LIFE

THE LIGHT OF LIFE

A Poem by Bill Grimke-Drayton
"

A description of the beginning of life, energized by and because of love.

"

Deceiving, pallid veil

unfolds

from dim, receded shadows,

breaks down

into myriad fragments,

slips smoothly through

the kaleidoscopic

prism of creative energy,

coalescing into a rainbow brilliance

from the timeless sun.

Yes. Short, sweet. Nothing extra. Clear, vivid descriptions. Bravo.
