Yellow ButterflysA Poem by Kimowrote this right before "The Glass" ( and "Trapped" (I see them Flying lazily Wings of gold and mica Bodies of obsidian They are free… So unlike me Oh, how they are free…
I do not see her She, who is why I notice the butterflies now, She, who has awoken me to the world, and its beauty, She, who I love She, for whom my heart screams for And my body calls But I am not heard It will not stop me
She opened my eyes So for her, I will fight To the ends of the earth And the pearly gates of heaven Or the black gated of hell For her, I will fight And I will not stop Until I have won Oh the yellow butterflies With their fragile beauty And gentle touch They land on my face To partake of the tears That cascade down Staining my face…
My tears fall As I scream to ears that wish to be deaf And my heart calls To another that wished not to feel I push, shove, ram, hit, punch, beat down the walls That she holds up She has been hurt before As long as I live she will not be hurt again
The walls crack The walls crumble The walls fall She desperately tries to rebuild them But i stop her, I stop her and say I love you And we are still as we stand In our field, of yellow butterflys…
