Grey

This is the first poem I've written in almost a year

Trapped within the beauty of this life

Opening my eyes is this a dream or truly my reality?

Should I smile?

 Should I cry?

Should I reach out my hands towards the sky?

 Or should I run deeper inside and hide

My head it spins with conflicting thoughts

The black and the white no longer clear

My mind is slowly becoming grey

Is it Happiness I Fear?

Is this reality for real?

Please Lord let me see

Remove this demon within me.

Show me the joy

Show me the Peace

I pray dear Lord help me believe .
