Hidden Fake

A poem about how sometimes people just hide their emotions and are fake instead

Smile and take the pain,

Hold your breath

Don't take the blame,

Smile fake instead.

Stand alone in the cold rain,

Always know things'll never be the same

Wrap yourself in the cold dread

And put on the face so dead.

I feel like this sometimes (actually a lot of the time). I don't usually review poetry, mostly because I'm not very familiar with it, so I won't tell you to change anything. I'm afraid I'll say something wrong. Keep it up.

Nice read, I think there is a lot of us who actually feel like this way, like we have to put up a fake smile to make everyone else around us happy. Thank you for sharing I enjoyed reading this very much.
