The Light of Providence

The Light of Providence

A Poem by Eric Jameson
"

Upon viewing the beauties of the Exmoor

"
The Lord, Jehovah, God of all.
All is His and all things good he is.
Heaven trembles; all creation to His call.
'Twas Void in darkness; deep Dark's Abyss
And glorious Living Light e'er was and still;
 the Essence worn, His Honour, His Splendour.
Brought forth by burning Fire so to fill
the Void with goodness and of grandeur.
The first sunset o'er a dark, shapeless world.
Praise to Providence, Nature's light;
Sweet blissful Heaven open now my sight.
