Autumn: a fragmentA Poem by Eric JamesonA sketch of divine nature.'Twas splendoured time of year's consent with visionary radiant bloom, e'er now doth Autumn make lament for sultry summer's searing doom. Now hail! For dewy leaves of Fall. Grand solace of the season's blest. O'er happy spirits glide it's marbled hall. With bloss'ming meadow vales undrest. Tis silent season, calm, tranquil, with dawn-like majesty renewed. Come then and take of Autumn's fill; Wreathed with marveled-hues of light imbued.
