the complexity of this thing called love

the complexity of this thing called love

A Poem by woodennymph
"

in this sonnet, the author talks about the sensations she felt and the realization of what they were. it is discovering love for the first time.

"

There's this feeling taking over me.
It's quite unclear what it ought to be.
But it's overwhelming strength empowers my heart;
It's transcending beauty, from me shall never part.
My being screams out it's confusion and fear
But it seems the world is deaf and could not hear.
The great tides of emotion eat away my soul
And leaves me with nothing more than this false role.
I hear the thundering beats of my precious heart
And I realize right then that love it longs to impart.

I like this piece. The rhyme scheme is simple but it is the last line that makes it will worth the read.
did you ever catch the inspiration for this one?

Love & happiness! who understands it?some feelings we just cant get enough and the fact that we so much disire it without a reason...short but powerful, i love this piece for it encompasses the concept of the complexity of that which binds enemies together,that which knows not religious nor racial barrier.well penned
