You're high, I am down lowA Poem by Kimberly Ann MacDA poem about the feeling of being unheard in a relationship. When you feel like you are the constant giver and all the other one does is take advantage of your kindness.
You are up high, and I am down low
I put you up there, it's my fault, I know I shouldn't of let you walk all over me Always pretending to like and agree The things that you do and the words that you say No matter what you did wrong, I would always stay So, now you are high, and I am down low I have fell to the bottom and have nowhere to go You hold your hands high, too high for me to reach They are covering your ears, so you can't hear my speech I beg for your help, to be pulled out of this low Place me high where you are, not above or below ~Kimberly MacDonald 03/06/2019 © 2019 Kimberly Ann MacDAuthor's Note
