Dear homeA Poem by kimberli LeacockThis is for those who have long business trips, separated from family or just looking for a place to call home.
To my home far away,
how i miss you so; the happiness i felt and that warm glow. You can never be replaced, no matter how many times i move. I will always think of you, how i long to see you soon. When im with you i can be anything i choose; no matter the game, i will not lose. I am strong, powerful, confident, invinsable; but when we are separated, i am invisable. My heart cries out for you, my heart is hurt by the change, despite how nice things seem, it'll never be the same. Without you i am alone. No one likes me like you do. No one accepts the real me. No one loves me too. Time has left us, and you have moved on; i hardly recognise you, having not seen you in so long. Yet i hold onto what was, Cannot accept what is now. The clear skies that i need; my regret wont allow. I miss you home, another, none to me. Youre irreplaceable my love, I may never be free. To my home far away, how i miss you so; the happiness i felt and that warm glow.
