chapter four: not waving
Then I guess this is goodbye, I’m not crying like lovers do, I’m not sad like friends do, I just smile, To show that I’m okay and happy without you, But it’s hard to hold the tears, In a windy day, The wind running with golden leaf, Never have an end, Just like my tears, Dropping endlessly, That I realize after she was gone, Now I’m carving this letter in my heart, The words I used to say to you, Now I’m sketching this drawing in my head, The face that I possibly can’t forget, But I’m not waiting, For the day that I can live without you I’m standing in front of you, Tongue tied and speechless, It’s a very dark day, But the cloth I wear, Darker than the sky, I accept that you’re gone, While holding a very cold stone with flowers everywhere, I’m kneeling saying “will you marry me?”, You’re not answering me, I’ll take that as a yes, I put the ring on the ground, Making you promise me That you’ll never lost this ring, The ring never proves my love to you, But my life does, I’m laying beside you, With my eyes close, Wishing I’m sleeping besides you Forever. © 2010 kill the innocentsFeatured Review
