Thank you for the time we've shared
The time's we’ve laughed
The time's we played
Chasing dreams
No matter how strange they seemed
The secrets we told
The trust we bared

Then of course the times we cried
When I was weak
When my heart wept
A helping hand
When I couldn't carry my load
You stitched me together
My heart repaired

So I thank you for the stormy nights
A tender caress
The occasional fight
Being wrong
Because you cared
You've showed me true love
Through the times we've shared
