I had to tell themA Poem by kikieatszombiesThe ground is cold under my bare feet The only clothes I have are the clothes on my back and the few items that i could clutch with my tiny hands. The wind rips through my hair and travels down my spine. I shiver as it sings a song of the lost souls and quietly disappears into the night sky. I was looking for ways to tell them, but with you parents being right hand catholics, its hard to tell them that you are atheist, that you don't believe in god. The only thing I wanted was to be myself to feel comfortable in my own home. Now I have no home.
