In all of life’s arenas are haves and have-nots

Including that which requires a little independent thought

 

If all of this sounds bitter, I’ve one last thing to say

Altruism and compassion are simply not the same

There is love for others, brothers, fathers, mothers, sisters, friends

 But not that arrogant, exclusive kind, and so I’ll say again:

 

Love is nothing, love is a joke

Love means as much as the strobe lights and the smoke

Love is a joke, love is so fake

It’s Hollywood’s worst creation to date
