HOUDINI

 

I'm not Houdini

I can't abra-kadabra what I want into my hands

Or reach anything without executing plans

I make mistakes, detours, demands

I can't disappear without being forgotten

I can't leave something sweet on a shelf

Without it going rotten

I can't change the world

Nor minds and circumstances

I can't afford to be afraid

And miss second, third, tenth chances

 

But I will be back
