And my vices they aint few I made my bed of nasty habits Long before I learned to use But that bed became a bedroom And that room became a house And I built it with such care That I would never need go out And I didn't for a long time Comfortable within it's confines Owning every ounce as only mine My silence by my side Now I don't live there anymore The building built with both my hands And I've been waiting for those walls to fall But that house of cards still stands I don't demand your understanding Of the way I've lived my lives Don't give a damn if we're together When to your answers you've arrived I am content This time I've spent is fleeting Meeting only for a time And though soon gone I may be wrong But lives are made to leave behind © 2013 Kieran DavidsonReviews
