Time

Time

A Poem by Kieran Davidson
"

Trying to let go a little.

"

I will do this

it is time

I will release my mind's blind eyes

I'll confess to all I ain't so fine

As to withdraw from this that's mine

It's Immortal, Irretractable

A portal to the masterful

Cracks my skull

But lacks the full potential

To get back from all

I've seen then felt

Then leaned then knelt

Then fallen crying out for help

And what to do to help but hear

My hopes through all this hate and fear

That you would offer head or heart

If but it was just one small part

Of something I could stand to keep

Inside a whole this dark and deep

This stark relief this well marked grief

That hearkens from some lost belief

In something good and something right

In daylight that outlasts the night

But I can't live to wait for this

Some bliss I've never known but miss

Some sacred moment so sublime

A simple trick of fiction I

Am ready for this

It is time
